【Meiruier FIlter】Metal gap type filter maintenance

Metal gap type filter is a metal type filter as a filter element of the filter. This filter element have two common form of damage , one is the metal belt loose, open welding that caused the working oil short circuit, the other is the filter element blockage, resulting in filter through capacity. Such as filter element damage, open welding and metal belt loose, solder can be used for welding.

1. Filter element through ability checking 
Using a stopper or rubber stopper block the filter element port after cleaning the filter , then put it into the diesel that oil temperature higher than 15 ℃, check time about the diesel into the filter element. The new filter element should be filled with diesel oil in 20-40 seconds, such as diesel filled filter for more than 100 seconds, indicating that the filter element blockage serious, it should be further cleaning.

2. The method of filter element cleaning 
Putting the filter into the alkaline cleaning solution 80-100 ℃ soak 2.5-3 h, and then pump use the temperature of 80-95 of the cleaning solution, with 0.4-0.45Mpa pressure to spray the filter element, you can also use high pressure diesel spray.

3. Filter element installation precautions
When install the fixing filter element, you must ensure the gasket integrity, so as the lubricating oil can through the gap between the filter element and housing not l through the filter element only , resulting in engine parts wear accelerating.
