【Mrefilter】What is the difference between fuel filter and gasoline filter

Gasoline filter and fuel filter refer to the same accessories, mainly to filter gasoline impurities. The fuel filter replacement method is as follows:
1. Loosen the clamping device at the junction of the oil and the fuel filter, then remove the fuel filter from the oil circuit, and then block the oil circuit with a plug to prevent fuel from overflowing. Most fuel filters installed in the oil circuit are marked with two arrows, one is the fuel inflow arrow, and the other is the fuel outflow arrow. The arrow indicates the flow direction of the fuel when it passes through the fuel filter. Therefore, when installing the fuel filter, make sure that the direction of the arrow points to the engine, that is, the oil flows to the engine;
2. In addition, the clamping device used in the oil circuit is specially designed. Clamp these two parts tightly at the junction of the rubber hose and the fuel filter to achieve a sealing effect. Compared with ordinary clamping devices, this clamping device does not cut into the rubber hose, so it will not cause damage to the rubber hose. At the same time, this clamping device can withstand high oil pressure. In contrast, ordinary worm-type clamping devices are more likely to damage the rubber hose and cause fuel leakage. Finally, it should be ensured that the rubber hose clamping device is installed in the correct position and clamps the joint according to the specified specifications;
3. Please note that many imported fuel filters have a pipa-shaped coupling part through which the fuel filter and the engine oil circuit are connected. When using such lute-shaped joint parts, it should be noted that their gaskets are not allowed to be reused. Therefore, for a fuel filter with a pipa-shaped coupling part, the sealing gasket must be replaced every time it is maintained to prevent fuel leakage;
4. In addition, you should pay attention when using this lute-shaped combination part. During the installation process, the connecting thread must not be cross-threaded, and excessive clamping force must not be applied to the connecting part. Do not use RTV or other types of sealing rings on these lute-shaped joint parts. When installing the joint parts, use a wrench to ensure proper clamping force;
5. The car uses a maintenance-free fuel system and only uses a fuel filter built into the fuel tank. It is impossible to replace all fuel pumps, filters, and fuel output devices during the periodical preventive maintenance of automobiles. Even if the interval between regular preventive maintenance of the car is relatively long, it is impossible to do that because it is expensive. However, if there are signs that the engine performance is abnormal, or the fuel pressure of the fuel system is at a critical value, it is necessary to check or even replace the fuel filter placed inside the fuel tank. After completing the maintenance of the fuel filter, assemble all the components, re-install the fuel pump fuse, and then rotate the engine several times when the ignition system is not working, until the fuel system establishes normal fuel pressure. At this point, you should check the fuel filter and oil circuit for leaks. If the test results show that everything is normal, start the engine to run for a few minutes, and then recheck to make sure that there is no leakage, thus completing the replacement.
