The air filter is installed in front of the carburetor or the intake pipe, and it mainly filters out dust and sand particles in the air to ensure that sufficient and clean air enters the cylinder. If the dust, sand and various impurities in the air directly enter the engine cylinder and burn, they will accelerate the wear of the engine, thereby reducing the service life of the engine and even causing serious damage to the engine.

Car air filter function:
1. Its main function is to filter impurities in gasoline, reduce engine loss and air filter element. When gasoline is burned, clean gasoline and clean air are mixed together, and when burned, the fuel can exert its maximum effect. In most places, the air quality is poor, and the air filter element is more important. The air filter element is what we often call the air filter;
2. If the maintenance period is reached and the air filter has not been replaced, it will become more difficult for the engine to inhale; if the oil and gas mixture is not in place, carbon deposits will increase, thereby increasing fuel consumption;
3. The function of the gasoline filter is self-evident, which is to filter out the impurities in the gasoline; most of the cars now use electronic injection, the oil pressure is relatively high, and the filter is basically all covered; If the gasoline filter element is dirty and the oil is not smooth, the fuel injection volume will decrease and the power will be insufficient; However, if the vehicle wants to maintain power, the driver needs to increase the accelerator, the fuel injection volume increases, and the air intake volume increases. As a result, the ratio of fuel injection volume to air intake volume cannot reach an average state.
